Background:
Grunk was born into poverty. His mother was shunned for getting involved with an Orc named Grakus Elfcrusher. By the age of 6 Grunk was an orphan. His mother; Sarah Sedgehammer was murdered on her way to the market by a group of racist thugs, “The Pure Bloods”. This loss sent Grunk into a spiral of hatred and crime. He was forced to learn how to survive on the streets. In doing so he learned his “locksmith” skills.
When he was old enough to learn how to fight he began looking for the elusive “Pure Bloods” but has only managed to find a bloody path of victims. He also developed a hatred for his Orcish side, mostly because his father left him and his mother to fend for themselves. Grunk feels that if his father would have been there his mother may still be alive.
He recently set up camp in Devarnish, because “The Pure Bloods” were rumored to be in that area. Again this lead only to disappointment as the only thing he could find was another broken body of a non-pure person.
It was around this time he received news that an old aquiantance of his was found dead, barely clinging to life until he reached the inside of the walls. His frustration with his search for the Pure Bloods helped him decide to avenge his friend's death, if not his mother's. Some day the Pure Bloods will pay, but until then, Grunk is one of the founding members of the S-Team.
