No magical armor was left in the armor room. Aldar looks through the room. There are some antique armor dummies. Aldar finds a secret door. We clear the crap away. As we clear it away we hear some scrambling and we FIGHT!
Qwand gets high initiative...to look at stuff in the armory.
A huge "jabba the hutt" is coming down the stairs.
"Brian? DO you want your action die?" -Dukie
"Nope. There might be something worse."
It comes down and attacks Orander and puts him in a "fog."
Orander looking around and drooling.
Two new foes enter the battle. 2 Jabba the Hutt Jr; Slimy Babies.
This just gets better and better.
The Dwarf arrives after hearing baby crying.
Kire starts to sing such hits as...
"Pour Some Sugar On Me"
"Pour Some Salt On Me"
[...and "Pour Some Whup-Ass On You, Sucka!"]
In a turn of "strange" events, Jabba eats one of the babies and
is feeling much better now.
Aldar declares "I think it's dead. referring to Jabba.
John makes his drama roll and does a rousing rendition of
the Baby Monster.
here is a medallion on the monster that has a symbol on it; Bo'Arden's Horseshoe;
the necklace is mithril.
Aldar opens the secret door, discovers that it ia portal.
Lucian digs in the slug (Jabba) and gets the amulet.
Go up the stairs and discovers an old bunk bed room.
"I see nothing with my Elvin eyes." Lucian commenting
on seeing nothing magical.
"You use the ring for that?" -Kire
"Hell yeah." -Orander
"What happened to raw talent?" -Kire
Nice bunk room discovered. The beds try to seduce Kire to
lie in them.
Find 18 masterwork short bow arrows.
John relays a tale of a caveman getting stabbed with a sharp stick. [Quizno's
commercial]
We move up the stairs slowly with Kire several feet ahead scouting.
We get to the top of the stairs and see two stone statues with heads of lions,
bodies of humans. One is clasping shards of fabric on the floor lies a mummified
body under cloth.
Kire goes in to try and look through the opened doorway.
Almost immediately the statue awakens.
Kire steps back!
Orander levitates up to try and get through, he still wakes up.
Kire asks "what about that medallion? Try holding that and walking past
it." Lucian tries that and it works!
So we tie a rope to the medallion and give it to Qwand.
Meanwhile, Orander roots around in the mummy corpse and finds a ring.
Orander walks into what appears to be a bedroom. There is chest and a glowing
magic ball.
Kire now goes over, our plan has worked!
We look around.
Kire searches for traps in Grunk's absence. Finds none.
Orander comes to look at the light.
Kire searches for secret doors.
Behind the armor is "BF WAS HERE! KNOW YE ALL!"
Also, there is an ancient coin suck on the back of it. Orander takes it.
The light is like a light bulb -goes out when you twist it.
The room suddenly shrinks as a voice from above says, "Oh... That's why this is messed up."
We find a line in the floor that helps us move without the
amulet.
We see two more doors.
There is light behind one of them. This room is clean, warm, with a bed for
two.
"I'm pushing my luck here." -Kire, and the number on inanimate objects with legs.
There is fresh ink on a desk, and a sliver bell.
Lucian rings the bell.
A voice comes, "How ay I server you?"
We order a keg, mutton and eggs. We hear a door open.
Orander takes a nice soft robe (white w/ red stitching).
A keg rolls through the door with a tray of mutton and eggs.
The ale is exceptional.
E goes to get Orander some paper.
We contemplate making Grunk "Keg Boy" with a makeshift backpack.
"On the bright side, it's only gonna get lighter." -Aldar
The other room is huge.
It has a huge "U" shaped table with a stage on one end, chandeliers
and a fireplace on the other.
There is a huge stained glass window with two figures holding blue flames.
Te central chair has a Bo'Arden symbol on it.
Six richly dressed figures are
stapled by spears face-down to the table.
The bodies all have Bo'Arden symbols.
They each have colors depicting nobility.
An old Devarnish family, one from old Veluna, and one from a country that
got swallowed up years ago (to the west of the mountains).
The stained glass figures are coming at us! We FIGHT!
Regular weapons have no affect.
The Bo'Arden amulets protect us from them.
We start chucking amulets around off the bodies (ORANDER'S IDEA).
After we all have them, the glass figures leave us alone.
We find a jeweled dagger, ring on a necklace, jeweled scabbard
and 100GPs off the bodies.
Group finds a secret door: room is pretty with spiral staircase in corer that
leads to blackness.
The painting is like a web cam.
Group finds a book.
Some read others watch the Dwarf dance on web cam.
Find glyphs of warding for summoning sphere. (in book)
Group goes to other door and finds
a toilet!
We have a keg.
